web 00001The Butsu Zen Zone, modestly called the « The Zen Zone of Buddha » has started its 3rd season of attendance to the different Japan Expo taking place on the Western Lands for the largest happening of such a kind in Europe :

The Japan Expo of Paris-Villepinte

Which took place from 30th June up to the 3rd July 2011

in the two buildings of the huge exhibition place of the same name.

190 000 visitors to this day, 14 km of fences to channel the crowds of otaku into well-behaved lines, hundreds stands, shows and exhibitions of all sorts, mangas, animations, video games, comics US, fashion, design, martial and traditional arts, in one word : an ideal weird place to promote the immobile sitting of zazen et strike agitated minds !

This year the organizers offered us to open the festival with one of our 4 on-the- stage conference on zen, and provided us with a large stand and many entrance tickets for the « teachers » of the Butsu Zen Zone.

As it happened the previous years, we benefitted from the help of other sanghas and also from Fabrice, one of our first true new member recruited at the Japan Expo who joined the practice after attending one of our conferences, Youpie ! And thanks to all !
